We have some fantastic events coming up in the start of 2012. Firstly, we have the annual Kirra Teams Challenge where we have a stand and raffle off some wonderful prizes and secondly we have a couple of movie nights coming up and also the launch of our Sarcoma Awareness campaign. Volcom Kirra Teams Challenge: 17-19 February 2012
The Kirra Tems Challenge is an annual event and is the biggest inter-club surfing team event . We are privileged to be part of this event again for 2012. We will be raffling off a Formula Energy Surfboard and Wahu pack to raise funds for Hannah's Chance Foundation. Look forward to seeing you all there!!!
Australia Day Celebrations at Hotel LA
Thank you again to Hotel LA for all your support. A portion of funds raised at their Australia Day Event will go towards our foundations. Details of their event can be found on www.hotella.com.au Flyer for this event to follow shortly!
Kristy Keech 10th Anniversary Charity Ball
Lisa Pollock, sister of Kristy Keech who passed away from Rhabdomyosarcoma 10 years ago is holding at Anniversary Charity Ball in rememberance of her sister and all proceeds are going to Hannah's Chance Foundation. This cocktail ball event is being held on 3rd March at Currabubula Station, 40 mins out from Tamworth, NSW. Tickets are $110.00 per person which include drinks and canapes and buses have been arranged to collect and return guests from Tamworth for a small charge. Live band entertainment from Sydney has been organised and some fantastic raffle and live auction prizes arranged. A fantastic unique night, which will be loads of fun!!!
Movie Night and launch of Sarcoma Awareness Campaign
Two movie fundraiser nights have been organised coming up in March. These movie nights will not only show a great movie " The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" but also launch our Sarcoma Awareness Campaign - "Size Matters for Sarcoma" . First movie night will be held on Thursday 22nd March at the Palace Cinema - The Barracks in Brisbane and the second on Friday night 23rd March at Event Cinema at Robina Town Centre. Tickets are $45.00 pp including champagne, food and movie ticket. Tickets can be purchased via our Facebook page, by clicking on the Shopping Cart icon. Sarcoma Tag Team Surf Event
A very exciting event coming up on 8th July 2012 from 7am. This year our annual surf team challenge will be held at Pacific SLSC on the Gold Coast. We have six boardriding teams involved and there will be fantastic prizes raffled this year. A big thank you to Pitstop Hill Mentawai for sponsoring this event as well as all our other sponsors involved.
